How are AssetCare equipped to handle collections of different volumes? - AssetCare have 17 regional wa

AssetCare have 17 regional waste management facilities, over 150 collection vehicles (ranging in size from transit to artic), serving over 48,000 customers and carrying out over 180,000 collections per year. As such, we can offer a flexible tailored service for any size of customer.

We can comfortably accommodate any rota based service requests as well as any size of ad-hoc service needs.

Due to the size and diversity of our customer base we are in every postcode on the UK mainland during any 10 working day period; so not only do we have the resource to respond to any type of request, we can also guarantee a timely response with a 24 hour service being an option for any materials that need removing with extreme urgency.

We offer a complete itemised asset list featuring make, model, serial number, asset tag, weight and ultimate status (physically destroyed, prepare for reuse etc.). We issue a certificate of destruction in tandem with the asset list for the client duty of care records. The individual Blancco reports are also available upon request for each hard drive processed.

How can you check that all the data has been erased? - The Blancco software automatic

The Blancco software automatically checks that all data has been overwritten and produces an associated certificate. In addition, we perform monthly random checks on media that we have processed. We also hold the vital ADISA certification, in doing so, we welcome third party auditing of our entire secure collection and processing service. This includes a full audit on an annual basis as well as up to 4 unannounced visits to our site every year. On every visit a minimum of 10 data bearing devices are tested using cutting edge forensic technology to ensure complete data sanitisation. The information from all audits is made available to all clients for complete transparency in our service.
